This unique museum under concept “ The Elephant’s Legacy: Traces of Time, Steps of Change ” offers visitors an immersive experience, exploring the rich history and deep relationship between humans and elephants in Thailand, as well as the significant role elephants play in Thai culture and heritage.

Our program invites you to tour this pioneering museum, where you’ll gain a new understanding of these majestic animals and their vital connection to Thai history. Following your museum visit, join us for a guided walk with elephants into the jungle, where you can observe them in their natural habitat, experiencing firsthand how they thrive in the wild.

As part of our commitment to conservation, you’ll also participate in an engaging activity to help support the elephants' environment—by crafting seed bombs made of clay. We’re confident that this unique experience will deepen your appreciation for elephants and inspire a lasting connection to their well-being and preservation.

Program Itinerary for
the first elephant museum and jungle walk with elephants

1. Hotel Pickup and Scenic Drive

We’ll pick you up directly from your hotel and begin our journey to Samui Elephant Home. Enjoy a scenic drive through Koh Samui’s beautiful landscapes, with an estimated travel time of 30-45 minutes.

2. Warm Welcome at the Camp

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a refreshing welcome drink.

3. Introduction to Samui Elephant Home

Begin your visit with an insightful introduction to Samui Elephant Home’s mission, goals, and our dedication to ethical elephant care and conservation.

4. Visit the first elephant museum on Samui

Visit the first and the unique museum under concept “ The Elephant’s Legacy: Traces of Time, Steps of Change ” offers visitors an immersive experience, exploring the rich history and deep relationship between humans and elephants in Thailand, as well as the significant role elephants play in Thai culture and heritage.

5. Participate to feed food for elephants

Get involved having the opportunity to feed them organic treats grown right here on our farm, including fresh grass, bananas and sugarcane. Don’t forget to capture these special moments with photos alongside the elephants.

6. Guided Walk with Elephants into the jungle

Accompany the elephants on a leisurely walk through their natural habitat. Along the way, you’ll witness them engaging in instinctive behaviors like tree-rubbing and foraging, experiencing firsthand how they thrive in a natural environment.

7. Crafting seed bombs to plant food for elephants

As part of the commitment to conservation, participate in an engaging activity to help support the elephants' environment by crafting seed bombs made of clay and use sling shot to plant food for elephants together.
